Harbor Creative Arts often offers special family workshops, seasonal or holiday events, open houses, hosts donation drives, and partners with community organizations at local events. 
These will start up again in September! Stay tuned in August as we begin to announce these dates & opportunities.

Recent special events:

Beep Beep Fill the Jeep & “Super Soap” – Our annual May art & community event showcasing capstone works of art by our afterschool programs connecting with a local service based organization. This year we collected over 1000 personal care items [into the Jeep] to donate to Amenity Aid & created soap themed artworks to connect with the cause.

“Ladies who Lego” & Lego camps/workshops – HCA partners with Stem Powered by with Tacos & Play Well Tek to offer Lego camps & workshops. We have also developed our own initiative called Ladies who Lego, providing a space for girls to explore Lego engineering together with the goal of increasing female participation in the co-ed offerings. 

Art shows at local businesses – Displays of HCA student artwork are often hung in the community to celebrate the work of our afterschool & session-based classes. 

Seasonal themed pop-up workshops… especially around Halloween, Hanukkah, ornaments, and Valentine’s Day.

School vacation camps… exciting pop-up art camps for ages 4-12 in December, February, April vacation offer children extended time in the studios. 

Returning in June:
Family Painting Sessions

Last summer HCA hosted family painting sessions. Families are invited to the studio to work collaboratively on a large keepsake abstract painted canvas. 
Family painting dates will be added again soon for Mother’s & Father’s Day.
Dates/times are TBD. 
Space is limited to three families per session. 
 
Session cost:
Family with 1-2 children $165
Family with 3-4 children $175
